Finally - I'm back
I decided to take both Aug. and Sept. off to get back in the swing of things
Intro
Welcome back to Four Things Para Tu. I wanted to take an additional month after the summer to get back into school routines. I will have songs this week but no articles. A new thing will be the album of the month and stats of my listening from the last week.
Album of the Month: Mirror by Lauren Spencer-Smith
I love almost all of the songs. I’ve had it on for the past week nonstop
My favorite is Bigger Person, the 6th on the album
I can sing most of the songs with proper emotions.
It resembles many of my lyrics(I will someday share some with you).
Obsession #1 - Sept. 28th-Oct. 7th: Not to be Dramatic by Zoe Clark
I love this song as it expresses my feelings for a guy I once loved. I had been trying to get him to love me for the last month. I finally gave up after 6 months of trying. I still love this song One of these days it will be associated with a future boy(or girl).
It describes a relationship between Zoe and another guy. She wants to love this guy who she does not know, but she thinks their soulmates.
Obsession #2-Sept.21st-28th-Pretty’s on the Inside by Chloe Adams
This song helps me see that I am pretty even if I don’t look it. It has a good message as well, as beautiful lyrics. It describes a situation where the author can’t convince herself that she is pretty. She uses the example of what her mama says to convince herself she is beautiful.
Obsession #3-Sept. 6th-17th-Austin by Dasha
This is the first country song on my list in a long time. It’s the first country song by a woman that I have fallen in love with. It’s a line dance country song. I know it by heart and have memorized it. She talks about the plans they had, but she finds out her boyfriend ditched her and wonders why. She tells him that she is moving in and that he won’t be better off. She thinks that she left him on purpose and that he lied to her and she believed it. She ends by asking “what happened?” and saying that she has forgotten him.

Obsession #4 June 19th-July 1st-Too Hot to Cry by Nessa Barrett
I don’t remember why I like this one because I was obsessed with it 3 months ago. I remember it being a relatable song but not much else.

Thank you for reading. I will write to you all with more Four Things Para Tu.
What songs do you like out of the batch?
What are you obsessions right now?
1 Dates for Too Hot to Cry are not accurate because I stopped tracking my listening from July to August.
