Intro

Happy December everyone! This week I’ll be giving you my top ten karaoke picks of the week. I’ve been karaoke-ing a lot over Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy this week’s list.

10. Titanium by Madilyn Bailey

This one is for you if you like karaoking to songs by Sia, as this is a cover of Sia’s Titanium. It’s much clearer than the original and may be easier to sing along to.

9. Give Your Heart A Break - Demi Lovato

If you are looking for a less demanding song to karaoke this would be the best bet, especially for you 2000s babies. I particularly enjoy singing the first verse.

8. Burn - Ellie Goulding

This isn’t one of my favorites, but it’s a good, feel-good song. The refrain is easy to karaoke, but I find the verses trickier, as they are faster-paced.

7. Hips Don’t Lie - Shakira ft. Wyclef Jean

This song is a good pick if you enjoy karaoking to songs in multiple languages or if you are fluent in multiple languages. The lyrics are in English and Spanish and switch between a guy’s part and a girl’s part.

6. Start of Something New - from High School Musical

This song is a perfect pick for those of you who are familiar with the movie. It’s a duet sung by Vanessa Hudgens’ character, Gabriella, and Zac Effron’s character, Troy.

5. So What - P!NK

This song was the lead single from P!NK’s 2008 album, Funhouse. It was her first solo #1 hit in the US. It’s a good pick if you like pop-rock or you want something you can groove to.

4. Baby, I’m Jealous - Bebe Rexha ft. Doja Cat

Though not a song I would prefer, it is a good one if you enjoy rapping and dance-pop. The song is a dance-pop lead single from Rexha’s second album, Better Mistakes.

3. Fight Song by Rachel Platten

This song was a single released in 2015. It hit the #6 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and reached within the top ten in multiple countries. It’s a power ballad about self-empowerment.

2. Training Season- Dua Lipa

The song was released on 15 February 2024, as the second single from her third studio album, Radical Optimism. If you like Lipa’s powerful vocals or the melody, this one is for you.

1. New Rules - Dua Lipa

"New Rules" is a song from her self-titled debut studio album. This is a fun song to karaoke and can be relatable. Its catchy chorus and memorable music video featuring synchronized choreography brought the song viral success.
